Craddock Flynn explosive, uncontrollable, focused - possibly un-coachable - loses his focus when he sees Cassidy.

Loved seeing this big tough guy soften when he is faced with a woman that could be it for him.

Loved the MCs and the supporting cast - was so fun to read about how the guys at GWG (Great Wolves Gym) - took to Cassidy. So refreshing to see her stand up to them when they got out of line.

Looking forward to getting to read the additional books in this series. Especially, because of the cliffhanger ending.

Ms. Blue is an author that brings to her stories a certain magic that few author can achieve. Ever book I've read, and I read every one I can get my hands on, has more than the expected steamy erotic scenes they have characters that become important to you ones that stick with you long after the last page is read. Read all her series I can promise you with not be disappointed except when you reach the last page and you have to say goodbye!
Reading is my life and it takes a really good book to keep my attention. This series surpassed just keeping my attention. It was absolutely amazing. I couldn't wait to get the next book in the series. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I cried, laughed, blushed and literally wanted to reach out and slap a few characters myself. I felt each emotion as if they were my own. To say I loved it would be an understatement.
I was prepared to see a version of "Real" by Katy Evans but OMG this was so much better. Just finished reading it and was yelling at the 'NOOOOO!!!!" So I purchased book 2 and am preparing to find out just what the heck happened!!! If you like MMA fighting and alpha males, this is for you. Craddock will make you want to kick his butt by the ending so be prepared. He better redeem himself in book 2
Just finished reading Hold Trilogy Book 1 MMA Fighter New Adult Romance by Jayne Blue. Good book but disappointed that it leaves you with a cliffhanger. I can say, you get to know the characters very well in this first book though.
The writing itself is quite competent, and the characters are fairly well developed, but I can't really recommend it to anyone. Serious plot spoilers ahead.

The end is atrocious. Not because it's a cliffhanger, but because of poorly thought-out triggers. Having spent the book falling in love, the heroine rejects the love interest for abusive tendencies at the end. The choice for the rest of the series is

1) For her to forgive his abusive tendencies and give him another chance to do it again.
2) That the entire romance of the first book was a red herring, and her real love will be someone completely different after she's repeatedly opened up her vulnerabilities to him.

Neither is palatable.
I really enjoyed this book even though I'm not into MMA/fighting. I wouldn't know anything about that scene if I were to watch it. There was definitely the alpha types & romance, & an enjoyable thrilling plot to make this an enjoyable read. This was well written & kept me on the edge of my seat. It was not written that you need to know Anything about MMA/fighting. I stayed up late to finish it cause I couldn't put it down & wouldn't have been able to sleep until I knew how the book ended. I would reccomend this book, even if you aren't into MMA/fighting. Only downside, it's a cliff-hanger ending.
I love after reading the Great Wolves MC books that we finally get a look into the Great Wolves Gym and the people that belong to it. This book definitely starts out hot and heavy with Cassidy catching the eyes of MMA hopeful Craddock, as she wonders into his gym begging for a job. The intense way he looks at her, flirts with her, and claims her before even kissing her, has parts of her going haywire--in a great and unfamiliar way. They both have goals they are trying to achieve, but will they be able to focus on the end play when there is so much heat going on between them?

Alpha males everywhere in the gym and a strong female lead. I love that even though she works at a gym with a bunch of filthy mouthed and minded men, Cassidy can hold her own. She knows how to dish it and take it all at the same time, which you need when you work with a bunch of guys--I'm very experienced with that type of work environment! Craddock desires her almost as much as his goal to become a sponsored fighter, but he's not the only one. Cassidy is catching the eye of every guy in the gym, but especially his rival Zeke. Definitely don't want to give anything away, but if you love Jayne Blue then this is another book to add to your reading collection.
