Sick to Death Greg Levin Books
Man O Man! What a story! Gage is such an Awesome character, even though he is terminally ill, I found myself rooting for him the entire time. The Trio of Gage, Ellison and Jenna were amazing! The chemistry between them was really Awesome and there was just enough details of each character to become attached and root for them. I never knew there were so many different drugs, but obviously Mr. Levin did his homework and it showed. If you liked Mr. Levin's previous book, The Exit Man, you will LOVE this one too! He has taken his story telling to the next level.I sure did feel bad during certain parts of the story to some of the characters, but that is all I will say as to not spoil anything. I obviously LOVED this book so much that I finished it so quickly. Already looking forward to Mr. Levin's next smash hit!

Sick to Death Greg Levin Books Reviews
By far my favorite book so far by Greg Levin! Sick to Death is a literary cocktail of equal parts Fight Club, Flowers for Algernon, and The Equalizer, with a heavy pour of dark comedy, and a slight twist of humanity and compassion when you least expect it. It will certainly have me looking over my shoulder before I spit on anymore kittens!
From the first chapter, it drew me in. I couldn't wait to see what happened next, and now I can't wait for the sequel! There will be a sequel, right Mr. Levin? I mean, you can't just leave us hanging like that.....
I really liked Gave (the main character), he is sarcastic and quick with a smart-assed comeback. And he is dying...sort of.
As someone with stage 4 cancer, I appreciated his wit and irrelevance. He says what many of us are only brave enough to think. I didn't see the "twist" at the end, but was pleasantly surprised.
Good work Greg!

So what would you do if you found you had incurable cancer? Gage Adder finds strength in an unusual place. His support group for the terminally ill. Well, not his support group exactly. He teams up with friends from the group and together they become vigilantes—ridding their community of thugs, rapists, pedophiles and other vermin. Mostly by poisoning them. Freed from consequences, Gage actually finds himself growing physically stronger by the day. Of course, someone takes things too far, and suddenly, hundreds of innocent lives are at stake. Is there a line that he is unwilling to cross?
Author Greg Levin imbues this rollicking tale with a darkly humorous tone throughout. The novel simmers along at a quick pace until it finally threatens to boil over. He delivers a well-written novel that is highly entertaining, thought provoking, and yes, even a bit disturbing. Never preachy or moralizing, Levin skillfully tells the dark tale with great relish. Readers can decide for themselves which lines they themselves might cross. Dark comedy is hard to write well, but Levin gets the tone just right. Highly recommended!
Wow. Stand-alone that is easy to follow and difficult to put down.
Interesting storyline. No drag-you-down drama or graphic brutality.
Believable characters with distinct personalities. Thought-provoking and snarky dialogue.
'Until someone could present irrefutable empirical data on how being a ray of sunshine killed malignant cells and reversed cancer’s course, he’d continue to be the self-obsessed, sarcastic and irritable individual he’d come to know and love.'
“Don’t get me wrong –I love my kids. But there’s a reason why family therapists and pharmaceutical companies make a killing.”
I will re-read this book and look forward to other works by this author.
Look past the sharp wit and clever turns of phrase to find a novel that speaks to man's purpose in life, escalated by his impending death. While the hook of the novel - a terminally ill man choosing to end out his days killing the worst of the worst - provides most of the plot motion, the author takes time to draw his main character into these decisions by leading us through the shock, horror, and confusion of learning one has terminal cancer. When the third act begins to spin out of control, the author clinches it with a clever twist that leaves a very satisfying ending. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone... except maybe the terminally ill.
This is a verydiffernt
This book has a different take on how terminal cancer affects some people. I think adults will find it off beat and amusing altho totally removed from reality. Some serious end of life issues are raised. We all know there aren't any easy solutions to life's problems but this novel Will surprise you with its answers?
I was recommended to read this book from a friend of a friend and was happy I did. It was a fresh and unique idea for a book. I didn't have much time to read it with my work but once the weekend came I turned everything in the house off and read the rest of the book. At first I thought the book seemed to end a little wanting then realized it left off at the perfect place to begin a sequel. I hope that will be the case. It's a great thriller with an original story and I highly recommend it.
